ABOUT PHARMAVALLEY
A Unique Young-Driven Consultancy Company
Hi, I’m Edward
MEET THE OWNER & FOUNDER
My name is Edward Oostenbrink and I am the founder of Pharmavalley. I have a large range of experience within different fields. My younger self decided he wanted to step into food technology. I finished the education and started working within the food industry. After year one, I realised that this was not an industry I belonged in and that wanted to prosper somewhere else. At the time I was clueless on what that was supposed to be.
I started working within the medical devices industry where GMP was introducing itself on a more complex scale than what I had experienced within the food technology industry. After 2 years I moved on to start as a process operator in the pharmaceutical industry. I found myself enjoying this branch of expertise and decided that this is where I belonged. I enjoyed my position and was promoted to process leader not long after.
I then went on within the same company to work with process optimalisation and was in a small way introduced to commissioning, qualification, and validation.
2,5 years later I started a new job as a consultant and worked for a bigger company with pharmaceutical roots. I got the chance to work on a large-scale project for the government and gained a lot of expertise and experience.
Now that I had worked within the pharmaceutical industry for quite some years, I longed for more. I therefore made the decision to start to work as a freelancer and soon saw that there were great opportunities for even more. Here the idea for Pharmavalley was born and I was going to work hard to make it reality. I am pleased to say Pharmavalley has become reality.
When we unite in purpose and action, we don't just grow—we thrive.
Hi I’m Richard
My name is Richard Langeveld. After graduating in Aerospace Engineering at Delft University I have worked in the aircraft structures industry for about 10 years. There, I attended several roles, the last role was related to qualification.
In 2007 I decided to continue to work in the life sciences industry and although this industry seems to be totally different from my previous experience, it soon became clear that the industries are actually very similar to each other. Quality systems in both industries are based on ISO and both industries are regulated.
With multiple years of experience in projects at several life science companies, I decided to continue as a freelance consultant in 2017, focussing on both project management and qualification/validation. While thinking about what to engage in next, Edward and I got in touch and as our ideas were aligned, I decided to join Pharmavalley.
